Albert Samuel Solanki was born to Samuel and Ambabai Solanki in Nargol, India on April 1st 1934. He was the youngest of ten children. Following his education, he was employed at Ahmedabad Electricity Company as a fitter mechanic until 1982 when he immigrated to Canada with his family.

Albert was married to Triza (Nalini) on September 10 1955 and had spent the next 60 years of blessed married life with her. He had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour at a very young age and was an active member and Elder at Church of North India (CNI) at Sabarmati. He had a very generous spirit, helping the needy in the family, church and community at large. Albert had enjoyed a blessed life with no regrets. He was a fantastic cook who enjoyed rich, spicy food and meats. Following his retirement, he loved to visit his family and friends in India for several years. He had enjoyed vacationing in US, being on a cruise and was even able to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Israel in April 2015.

God had blessed Albert with a large circle of friends and he was equally blessed with a large family. He is survived by his wife Triza Nalini; daughters Smita (Rashmikant), Meena (Bhupendra), Bertha (Earnest), Asha (Nelson) and Trupti (Mahendra); and a son Atul (Lizy). His memory will be cherished by his twelve grandchildren Sandip, Sonal (Coral), Justin, Christopher, Stephanie (Ryan), Christina, Alex, Jennifer, Mark, John, Praise and Manna, and two great grandchildren Michael and Asher. Albert was preceded in death by both his parents, five brothers and three sisters with only one surviving sister, Sugnaben, in Nadiad, India. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends in India as well as other parts of the world.

Albert will remain in our hearts until we see him again with Christ on that glorious day of resurrection.
