Cabral) <br />1970-2013 <br /> <br />The Broken Chain <br />We little knew this morning, <br />God was going to call your name, <br />In life we loved you dearly, <br />In death we do the same. <br />It broke our hearts to lose you, <br />You did not go alone. <br />For part of us went with you, <br />The day God called you home. <br />You left us beautiful memories, <br />Your love is still our guide, <br />And though we cannot see you, <br />You are always by our side. <br />Our family chain is broken, <br />And nothing seems the same, <br />But as God calls us one by one, <br />The chain will link again. <br /> <br />Surrounded by close family, Connie Tavares is at peace after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of 21 years to Carlos Tavares. Devoted mother to Brandon and Kyle. She will be sadly missed by her parents Jose and Aida Cabral, her brothers Jose (Fatima) and John (Milka) and her nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Friends may call at the Brampton Memorial Chapel &amp; Visitation Centre, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd (at Bovaird) 905-460-9155 on Wednesday, April 3rd , 2013 from 2 &ndash; 4pm and 6:30 &ndash; 8:30pm. A celebration of her life will be held during visiting at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 101 Malta Ave, Brampton on Thursday, April 4th, 2013 at 10:30am. Entombment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery to follow. <br /> <br />Donations to the Bethell House Hospice (www.bethellhospice.org) or Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (www.pmhf.ca/) would be appreciated by the family. <br /> <br /></div>
