Frank Janoschak in his 84th year, passed away at home Thursday May 28th, surrounded by his wife and children.

Frank was finally released from the long battle he fought against cancer and dementia and has joined the heavenly hosts. As his daughter Melody so beautifully said, "He is now singing in the biggest choir of them all."

His love for singing led him from Carnegie Hall to Blythwood Road Baptist, St. Paul's Presbyterian, and finally Heaven, with numerous stop overs at church choirs throughout the Greater Toronto area.

Frank is survived by his wife Lee, his children Sue McCallum, Ed Sharkey, Anne-Marie Zack, Melody Preston, Mark Janoschak and Marnie Quinlan. His grandchildren are Sandy Herrfort, Michael McCallum, Jeremy Sharkey, Brad Sharkey, Jesse Scott, Chrysantha Janoschak and Zayne Janoschak. His great grandchildren are Silvia McCallum, Ally Herrfort, Oakley and Callum Sharkey.

Frank worked at AirCanada for 42 years, was a dedicated foster parent, and graced the fairways, sand traps and water hazards of Chesley Lake Camp golf course for over 40 years. He will be sorely missed by many friends who all knew him as generous, caring and larger than life. His laugh and sense of humour are legend. His giving spirit knew no bounds.

Visitation on Monday, June 1st at Brampton Memorial Gardens, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd., (corner of Chinguacousy &Bovaird) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Celebration of his life takes place Tuesday June 2nd at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 723 Balmoral Dr. at 12 noon. Guests are invited to visit with us over light refreshments. There will be a motorcade procession back to memorial gardens following this time of fellowship for internment.

ASL-English interpretation will be provided courtesy of Penny Schincariol for the funeral and internment.
