<div itemprop="description">Gloria Sunshine Gill, the third youngest of 13 children, was born to William and Carmen Gill in Botwood, Newfoundland and Labrador on May 17, 1955. After an extended battle with cancer, Gloria, just shy of her 61st birthday, passed peacefully away on May 7, 2016 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. The family would like to extend thanks to the doctors and nurses who cared for Gloria. <br> <br>She is predeceased by her parents, brothers, Leslie, Harry and David, son, Adam, and sisters in-law, Irene and Patricia. <br> <br>Left with loving memories are her husband Lee Code, children Colleen and Trevor, granddaughter Sky, siblings, Harold (Marie), Arthur (Margaret); Lloyd (Barbara); Donald (Wavey); Bill (Shirley); George; Eddy (Wendy); Flora (Merv); Eugene (Lorraine) and sister in-law Dixie, as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces and friends. <br> <br>Spending time with Sky, her granddaughter who lovingly called her Gigi, listening to music, especially anything sung by George Strait, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends were but some of the things that Gloria enjoyed. <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, either at the Funeral Home on the day of service or under the "contribute" tab. <br> <br>Pallbearers will be Trevor Code, Rod Gill, Kevin Gill, Don Gill, Kim Dawson, and Jason Dawson. <br> <br>A Celebration of Gloria’s Life will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 10:00 am and a service will follow at 11:00 am. Refreshments will immediately follow the service. <br></div>
