James Samuel Tennent
September 25, 1949 - March 17, 2016
James (Jim) Samuel Tennent died suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep at the age of 66 early on March 17, 2016, in his home in Brampton, Ontario.
Jim was born Sept 25, 1949 in Blantyre, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1968. For 34 years he worked at Air Canada as a Station Attendant in Toronto before retiring. His group of lifelong buddies have shared many fond and funny memories together.
A talented soccer player in his youth, he was also an avid Glasgow Rangers supporter his entire life. Book reading and crosswords were a couple of his favorite hobbies. Known as “Jimmy” by his closest friends, he will be remembered by all for his sharp wits, playful sarcasm and great sense of humor.
He will be missed by his loving wife and best friend Sally, son Scot (Marianne), daughter Michelle(Jeff), sister Jean (John), Sister in law Cathie, granddaughter Ashlyn, grandson Carter, nephew Billy (Diane), nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his father James, mother Isabel and brother Bill.
