Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of our dearest Loraine.
After an incredibly long and difficult battle with cancer Loraine accepted God’s invitation into heaven on Monday August 24, 2015 at 8:26 am.
She fought hard for us all and we admire her strength and courage. She has joined her cherished mother and father Barbara and Vincent Fernandez who lit the way for her.
Loving wife of Gary Kingson, treasured mother of Rachelle (Troy) Trichillo, Adam (Adina) Kingson, and beloved sister of Lewellyn (Adrianne) Fernandez, Ian (Theresa) Fernandez, Alister (Debbie) Fernandez, Beulah (Keith) Burtles, Bazil (Lorraine) Fernandez, Christopher (Bernadette) Fernandez, Stafford (Doreen) Fernandez, Gillian (Savio) Vaz, Gerrard (Sandra) Fernandez, Blossom (Greg) Braganza, Maria (Mark) Kingson, Zoie (Andre) Sutherland, precious grandmother and great grand mother to Rebecca, Samuel and Landen, and adored aunt to the many nieces and nephews who will miss her beautiful smile and warm heart. Loraine was also a much admired daughter in law to Wilfred and Philomena Kingson and sister in law to Sharon and Douglas Penny.

Just 3 months shy of her 65th birthday, Loraine concluded the difficult chapter in her book of life.
Although grief is crushing our hearts at this time, we are certain that God will grant us the peace to accept this tragic loss as we remember her fondly.
Walking beside Loraine through her battle for 2 years she gave us the strength to endure her scars. The time had come for her to go peacefully as she so deserved. We are consoled in knowing that God is providing her much needed comfort.
Lifelong partner to her husband and devoted mother and grandmother she leaves behind a testament to a joyous life. Sister and friend to her 12 siblings she will be missed as we remember and appreciate her contribution to a united and strong family.
She loved to celebrate with family and friends and never missed an occasion where she added such zest, fun and laughter. Her smile lit up a room as she made special time for everyone. She loved to dance and reminisce with friends about childhood days. She loved to cook and sew and she loved to dress smartly and her radiance showed as she took special care with her appearance. She was an inspiration to us all.
Loraine you will be missed but more so you will be treasured and loved always.
Rest in peace in God’s loving arms.

In lieu of flowers a memorial Donation can be Made to The Princes Margaret Cancer Foundation

https://pmhf3.akaraisin.com/Donation/Event/DonationType.aspx?seid=7809&mid=48&Lang=en-CA
