Penelope "Penny" Craig
January 31, 1964 - February 28, 2016
Brampton – Penelope (Penny) Elizabeth Ann Craig, 52, died Sunday February 28th 2016 surrounded by loving family.
Survived by her children Diana (Joe), Stacey (Shawn), and Cody; her mother Elaine and stepfather Gerald; her siblings Allison, Kimberly, Katherine ( Bruce), Gerald Jr. ( Racquel), Sean, and Ian. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Penny was predeceased by her father Kenneth and brother Wayne.
Born and raised in Montreal, Penny spent much of her childhood summers in Metis. She loved to travel, ski, and shop – especially for shoes! She loved to laugh, and always tried to live life to its fullest. Penny was a loving mother, her children meant the world to her. She was a fighter, and always made lemonade out of the lemons that life threw at her. She taught her children to be strong, and often imparted her strength and wisdom on her family and friends.
Penny’s toughest battle was her battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She fought bravely for 12 years, and was an inspiration to many. Sadly, after a long and courageous battle, she succumbed to complications due to her Multiple Sclerosis.
Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the William Osler Health Center in Brampton.
