Bob passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at The Villages of Sandalwood Park long term care home, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Norma for over 64 years. Loving father of David, Susan (John Palmer) Paul, Diane (Chris Boyd), Bill, (Karen Nayler), Bob (Kerry). Devoted grandfather of Jennifer (Anthony), Lisa, Laura, Nolan, Sandra, Kevin, Alex, Cameron, Jessica and Adelle. Predeceased by grandson Stephen Boyd and brothers Donald, Eugene and Frank.
A devoted family man, Bob will long be remembered for his creativity and his love of music, which he shared with his children and many young friends; guitar lessons and bands in the basement are enduring reminders of his legacy.
Friends may call at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton on Thursday, March 31 from 2 to 5 or 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, April 1 at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 187 Conestoga Drive, Brampton at 11.30 AM.
