Minister Daniel Nana Yaw Omari, age 47, after sudden illness, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Brampton Civic Hospital in Ontario. He was surrounded by a host of earthly angels, loving family and friends, sharing this moment in God’s love and tremendous physical loss. A graduate of Swedru Senior High School (SWESCO) in Ghana, his entrepreneurial endeavours opened doors for his emigration to Canada in July 1990. Having a thirst for the Living God, Daniel was divinely lead to his church family – Good Neighbour Ministries – with whom he’s fellowshipped for over 24 years; serving as an Usher, Trustee, Deacon and Minister. His love for the Lord Jesus Christ, outweighed his love for soccer; causing him to walk away from playing the sport professionally to follow the will of God. Married in 1998, Daniel is survived by his wife Marsha, and their 4 children: Grace Akua, David Peter, Samuel Kwabena and Sarah-Hope Afua. He was a devoted, loyal, caring husband and father, giving his all for the success of his wife and children. He is also survived by his mother Grace, sister Doris, brothers Eric, Alex, Solomon and others relatives in North America and Ghana. Daniel will always be remembered as a true Christian and sincere gentleman. A genuine, encouraging friend to all – he had a knack for making anyone laugh, even total strangers, as witnessed by all who knew him! Ministering the Word of God with his whole heart, he preached throughout the years at his home church and also in Calgary, Jamaica, and guest speaker at several GTA churches and events. Always a worshipper of the King of Kings, he sang and danced with joy before the Lord and his brethren. Daniel was a gift on earth from our Heavenly Father, with whom we’ll be reunited soon…It Won’t Be Long!

Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery.
Viewing: July 31st, 1 – 3pm and 7 - 9pm; August 1st, 10 – 11am
Funeral: August 1st at 11am
Burial proceeding the Service, “Eternity Grounds”
Celebration of Life Reception Dinner at 3pm - 6911 Creditview Road, Mississauga, ON L5N 8G1

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in trust to the Omari Family at any branch or online: TD Canada Trust, Branch # 2117, Account # 6651179.

Floral gifts can also be arranged with discount offered at EvolutionFlowers.ca, reference Omari.
