Mike Eremic, 74 years old, passed away in hospital on Tuesday March 5th, 2015 suddenly.

Mike was born in Yugoslavia and was raised by his father, after his mother passed when he was only 1 year old. At the age of only 13, he decided to face life head on. He ran away from home, and later enlisted in the army. A hard-working man by nature, he started cutting hair and this became his legacy.

In his twenties, Mike married his first love. Blessed with two children, Sylvia and Daniella, he planted his roots in Brampton. “Mike the barber” became well known and loved throughout his community.

Mike married a second time and he was blessed with another little girl, Cassandra; he loved all of his girls very much.

Amongst the many gifts Mike possessed, his ability to make others smile stood out. Positive and happy by nature, he had a way of making those around him feel wonderful. He was a man who loved animals; buying bread to feed the birds every day. Over time, he became Brampton’s little celebrity barber.

Mike is survived by his three daughters; Sylvia, Daniella and Cassandra. Also surviving him are his loving grandchildren Nicole, Olivia and Justin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 at Brampton Funeral Home, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A 0H6. Visitation is from 1:00 - 2:00pm with the funeral to be held between 2:00 - 3:00pm.
